About Heather

imageI love what I do. I work with people across Canada and have been actively involved in strength training for 20 years. Through formal education and through my own personal practices of olympic lifting, competitive bodybuilding, yoga, functional training, imagery and use of language, I have explored, studied and expanded my understanding of how we move.

I have been honoured to work with amazing people. Some of whom are courageously working through limitation which effect their movement. Together we have had great success with improved whole-body movement and confidence, as well as decreased fear and reported levels of pain through skillfuly applied movement programming. Here are conditions I have experience working with.

  • Degenerative Disc Disorder
  • Depression
  • Diabetes II
  • Graves’ Disease
  • Frozen Shoulder
  • Pelvic Floor Disorder
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Hip & Knee Replacement
  • Osteoarthritis
  • Parkinsons
  • Pre & Post Natal
  • Scoliosis (with and without spinal fusion)
  • Spondylolisthesis

I am accredited through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) and through the Yoga Alliance as a Registered Yoga Teacher of 500 hours (RYT500). Currently I am enrolled in the Restorative Exercise Specialist-Certified Personal Trainer program through the Nurtritious Movement out of Sequim, WA.
